Duties
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and execution of projects, ensuring seamless coordination between design, procurement, and construction teams. This role oversees the development of shop drawings, prepares material lists and Bills of Materials, and manages project engineering processes to support efficient and high-quality project delivery. The Senior Project Engineer ensures compliance with structural, thermal, and building code requirements while coordinating façade system integrations, multiple system interface details, and engineering workflows to optimize production efficiency.
This role oversees the Engineering and Production Engineering teams, defining and monitoring key performance indicators, improving workflows, and driving continuous innovation.
Collaborating with Preconstruction, Project Management, and Fabrication teams, the Senior Project Engineer addresses design challenges, controls inventory, conducts cost analysis, and enhances production coordination, maintaining quality standards while minimizing costs. As a leader, they mentor and develop team members, establish best practices, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Duties to be performed at worksite located in Salt Lake City, UT
Travel required to jobsites within the state of Utah up to 10%

Education & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in architectural, mechanical or structural engineering, and five years post-bachelor's experience in project management related to building façade projects. Must have certification in the use of BIM 3D modeling software such as Revit, Solidworks or Inventor.
Total Compensation & Schedule
$133,973.00/yr
Monday -- Friday, 8am to 5pm
