What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Systems Engineer position at Stealth Power?
Company Description
Stealth Power designs and manufactures advanced idle mitigation and scalable hybrid energy systems that power complex fleet operations, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Trusted by organizations like the FDNY, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and FAA, our systems keep critical equipment running without the need for engines or generators. Built in the USA, our modular solutions are designed to work with EMS, utility, service, military, government, and city fleet vehicles of any make or model. By eliminating prolonged idling, we help optimize operational performance while significantly reducing costs and environmental impact.
Role Description
Stealth Power is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer who bridges the hardware and firmware worlds. This is not a traditional Electrical Engineering role, and it is not a pure software role -it is the intersection of both. You will design and review electrical systems and PCBs while also writing the embedded firmware that brings those systems to life. You will own products from schematic to deployed, connected device. This position will occasionally require travel - including unaccompanied travel of up to one week- to support key partners in the implementation of new and improved technology solution.
