What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Summer Facilities Operations Assistant 1 (Multiple Positions) position at State University of New York at Plattsburgh?
These positions will perform semi-skilled activities in preparing surfaces and applying coats of paint, varnish, and other finishes and stains to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces and fixtures of building structures, furniture, and equipment. These positions are within the Maintenance & Operations department which is responsible for processing all work order requests received and handling them accurately and timely. We are part of the Administration & Finance division which provides essential services to our campus, local, state, federal and international customers. We are responsible for human, physical, financial, and technical resources. As professionals, we navigate systems in a collaborative and sensitive way to assist the University in achieving its educational mission. The shift for this position is Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. These temporary positions for the summer are expected to begin in mid-May and end in mid-August.
