This position is located in the Division of Executive Budget and Finance (DEBF), State Controller’s Office and is headquartered at the DOA Office Building at 101 E. Wilson Street, Madison, WI 53703. Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for processing and maintenance of the State’s supplier data. To do this, the position performs a combination of routine tasks, such data entry into financial systems / databases, along with more complex analysis and interpretation of incoming data. This position also answers routine customer service questions on supplier records. The position will need to become familiar with all data input pages and fields within the Supplier areas of the PeopleSoft Financial system and have a working knowledge of financial audit trail principles. In addition, this role will learn best practices for applying state statutes, administrative codes, policies and procedures related to the financial program.

This position is in schedule-range (02-11) with an hourly rate of $22.31 an hour.
Job Details
Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas and is not an eligible OPT (Optional Practical Training) employer for F-1 international students. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form.
Certain positions within this Department may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit. This position is Limited Term Employment (LTE) and is limited to 1,039 hours in 26 consecutive pay periods (1 year).
Wisconsin residency is required for Limited Term Employment positions.
Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions are not civil service classified positions, do not give any rights to permanent civil service classified positions and do not lead to permanent status.
