Inventory Control Coordinator

Winnebago Mental Health Institute (WMHI) is recruiting for an Inventory Control Coordinator. This position will work from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. WMHI is a part of the Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS) and is a psychiatric hospital providing quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.

As the Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the WMHI warehouse. Responsibilities include:

• Stocking, issuing, receiving, and inspecting inventory, non-inventory, and patient items.
• Auditing packing slips against purchase orders for receiving documentation.
• Performing physical inventories.
• Operating material handling equipment.
• Purchasing items with a p-card and statement reconciliation
• Using a computer including Peoplesoft software program for documents and p-card reconciliation, coordinating surplus disposal process and maintaining SDS database.

The starting pay is $21.39 per hour, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.

Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. The pay schedule and range for this position is 03/10.

All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by the facility or medical personnel directed by the facility prior to their start date.

Minimally qualified applicants will have both of the following:

• Experience performing customer service tasks (e.g., providing instructions, answering questions, resolving customer complaints/conflict, etc.) using various communication methods (e.g., verbal, phone, email, etc.).
• Experience using computer programs or software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft, etc.).

Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:

• Experience working within an internal stores operations environment (e.g., picking orders, internal distribution of orders, etc.).
• Experience working in warehouse operations (e.g., shipping, receiving, storage of goods, etc.).
• Experience with inventory operations (e.g., fulfilling orders, managing inventory, etc.).
