Principle Duties
As a valued member of our team, you will provide office support at the Utah Highway Patrol Office. This will require specialized office skills plus, comprehensive knowledge of pertinent rules, regulations, polices and procedures.
- Position is 40 hours per week
- Dealing with public exchanges requiring thoughtful communication and positive interpersonal skills
- Processing a variety of agency confidential documents by reviewing for accuracy and completeness, updating information, and evaluating against policy
- Providing the public and others with information and assistance to complete forms and applications
- Retrieving data found in databases to generate requested reports
- Maintaining and creating files or record keeping systems
- Sorting, labeling, filing and retrieving documents, or other materials.
- Receiving, researching, and responding to incoming questions or complaints.
- Providing information, explaining policy and procedures, and facilitating a resolution.
- Monitoring, tracking, and following up on documentation, case files or other assignments to ensure appropriate timelines are met and action completed.
- Writing/originating correspondence, documentation, and other written communication.
- Processes payments for authorized reports and files timely financial paperwork as required
- Has professional customer service skills
- Has great communication skills
- Has computer skills with Word, Excel, etc.
- Knows how to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism
