Constituent Services within ORS is looking to fill one Associate Regional Director (Program Administrator II) position located in the Taylorsville office.

THIS VACANCY WILL BE FILLED USING A CAREER MOBILITY and is only open to current ORS Career Service employees.

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:

• Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement
  Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines, etc.
  Develop, direct, and evaluate the programs this position supervises
  Develop, audit, coordinate, and implement policy and procedure changes
  Oversee written draft responses to records requests, and constituents contacts
  Works closely with the Attorney General’s Office on more complicated records requests
  Supervise subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload, delegating assignments, training, monitoring, evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions

Qualifications

Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:

• Has at least three years of experience working at ORS and at least one year of ORS supervisory experience
  Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and/or approaches to problems
  Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  Has excellent customer service skills and deals with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
  Has the ability to research and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures
  Handles stress calmly and professionally
  Enjoys motivating people and working as a team
  Has good writing and negotiation skills
  Develops objectives and specifies the strategies and actions to achieve these objectives
