Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing ongoing mentoring, staff development to Supervisors, Youth Development Associate, Youth Development Specialist, Technicians and Office Specialist.
- Responsible for implementing quality services to youth and families in our programs.
- Observing, coaching and assuring fidelity to the delivered group interventions.
- Coordinating with the facility APD II and the Clinical Team to assure continuity of care and individualized attention to the established Needs Assessment Service Plan.
- Providing oversight and quality assurance of the day to day operations of the programs to ensure services are provided efficiently and in a safe learning environment.
- Creating a healthy work environment by promoting teamwork, personal responsibility, communication and commitment to the vision and mission of Juvenile Justice and Youth Services.
- Responsible to strategize with the Facility APD in an effort to improve elements of the Data Dashboard as well as the Facility Data Scorecard.
- Supervising subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions
- Responsible for programs, policies, operations, and related matters within Secure Care Facility.
- Eight years of full-time experience in working with troubled youth or a combination of full time work experience and college education that equals eight years.
- Is a motivated individual who enjoys being challenged while working with troubled youth.
- Is available to work in high stress situations and enjoys managing from a high level.
