Located in Hurricane, Utah, overlooking Quail Creek Reservoir, our office is seeking an Office Specialist. In this role, you will manage the front counter, assist customers with selling hunting and fishing licenses, and answer questions regarding wildlife and permits.

*Responsibilities*
As the Office Specialist II, you will:
- greet customers
- process hunt applications
- handle phone calls and over the counter license sales of hunting and fishing permits
- have knowledge of all fishing and hunting rules, regulations, and hunt dates
- enter data, generate sales reports, and reconcile the cash register
- assist with administrative duties for the Washington County Field Office, including facility maintenance, purchasing, and inventory.
*Qualifications*
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- must be enthusiastic, dependable, and have excellent customer service skills
- interest in hunting, fishing, wildlife, and natural resources
- good oral and written skills are a must
- applicant must be able to work independently
- basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point)
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- ability to preform basic accounting functions such as receiving and recording cash payments
- knowledge of basic bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, etc.
- responsible for maintaining calendars, schedules and coordinating appointments, meetings, training, facilities and other activities
- experience ordering, receiving, inspecting and storing equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies

*Working Conditions:*
- Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
