We are unable to negotiate hourly wage amounts. DHRM rules apply for promotions/transfers for current state employees.

- Principle Duties
- As a DMV Motor Carrier Technician, you will:
- assist Motor Carrier customers in a timely manner
- perform Motor Carrier functions on the motor vehicle systems including:
- registering vehicles
- interpreting information for customers
- answering questions regarding customer accounts
- process interstate registrations for Utah fleets
- verify state and federal requirements are being met
- verify and accurately distribute plates and decals and report any discrepancies
- enter cash and checks accurately on motor vehicle systems and balance cash drawer each night
- follow Utah State Tax Commission policies regarding processing personal transactions
