As a Motor Vehicle Technician, You Will
Issue license plates, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.
Receive, research, and respond to incoming questions or complaints; provide information, explain policy and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution.
Process transactions at a Point of Sale system, give correct change, and close the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
Assist the public and others to complete forms, applications, and other paperwork.
Examine documents to verify applicability, legibility, completeness, accuracy, and/or consistency of information from one document to another, etc.

Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail
Previous motor vehicle experience

Salary
Non-state employees are hired for this position at $19.20 an hour. We are unable to negotiate hourly wage amounts. DHRM rules apply for promotions/transfers for current state employees.
