Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the public and nonprofit volunteerism matchmaking initiative.
- Manage tracking and reporting for Volunteer for Good and serve as a liaison between UServeUtah and Golden software representatives.
- As needed, assist the Community Engagement Program Manager in all initiatives, including the College Community Engagement Council (CCEC), Community Engagement Pathways, Generation Volunteer Summit (GVS), Training Suite, Volunteer for Good, and United in Service (UIS).
- Provide administrative and operational support to CCEC, including attending meetings, organizing recognition efforts, and coordinating the end-of-year recognition event.
- Serve as liaison to MarCom for outreach and recruitment efforts for CCEC, GVS, UIS, and the Training Suite to ensure robust participation and engagement.
- Prepare and present curriculum during volunteer training sessions and ensure presentations are impactful and well-received.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the mission and operations of the agency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- This position requires one or more years of experience as a UServeUtah Community Engagement Program Specialist I. This experience must have been within the last two years for relevancy.
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to exercise sound judgment, take responsibility for meeting deadlines and be a skilled problem solver.
- The ability to initiate projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience with MS Office Suite and Google software programs. Salesforce experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of community engagment, nonprofit sector, and UServeUtah programming.
