Legal Assistant/Legal Management Analyst will:
Ensure that all applicants with disqualifying convictions are properly assessed;
Offer any type of direction to the applicants following assessment.
How does it get done?
Legal Assistant/Legal Management Analyst is responsible for:
Reviewing all files where there are disqualifying convictions or actions in accordance to our statute;
Reviewing criminal rap sheets for applicants.;
Reviewing relevant court documentation;
Providing assistance as needed;
Communicating with applicants (Public) via phone or email;
Thorough review and assistance concerning applicant records and legal documents.
Who are the customers?
Support is provided to individuals affiliated with licensed facilities in New Mexico;
Those who employ caregivers or are hospital caregivers All Caregivers and Hospital Caregivers;
Both in-state and out-of-state students working in the medical field are included.;
Caregivers provided care for community based providers;
The customer base encompasses a broad range of individuals connected to the medical field in New Mexico, including licensed facility staff, caregivers, and medical students.
Ideal Candidate
Support is provided to individuals affiliated with licensed facilities in New Mexico;
Those who employ caregivers or are hospital caregivers All Caregivers and Hospital Caregivers;
Both in-state and out-of-state students working in the medical field are included.;
Caregivers provided care for community based providers;
The customer base encompasses a broad range of individuals connected to the medical field in New Mexico, including licensed facility staff, caregivers, and medical students.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of directly related clerical, secretarial, and/or office administration experience utilizing legal terminology, procedures, and documents. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Office setting, exposure to Visual/Video Display terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
