The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions Employment Services Division partners with Workforce Development boards and Workforce service providers to deliver Career Services in America's Job Centers Statewide.

Due to the available budget allocated for this position, the hiring rate will not exceed $23.14 per hour.

To assist job seekers, find meaningful employment and assist employers in hiring qualified applicants.
How does it get done?
Matching job seeker's skills with employer's needs through job development, training, skill assessment, counseling services, interviewing, collaborating and networking. Attend local events to include rapid hire events, resource fairs, school orientations, and any other community events to increase the job seeking traffic in the local AJC offices. Work with the business team to identify job vacancies and placement for the job seeker. Provide presentations and workshops for the job seeker.

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years' experience in customer service, administrative support, human resources, recruitment, placement, selection, compensation, benefits administration, labor relations, occupational analysis, processing personnel transactions, or eligibility determination in a public and/or social welfare program. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
You must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
Travel may be required to include overnight stays.
Background check will be required.
Working Conditions
Office setting. Sitting for long periods of time viewing computer monitor. Repetitive hand movement. Standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs. Use of computer, copier and telephone.
