Master's degree required. Candidates must be fully certified as an Athletic Trainer by the BOC by start of employment. Must become state licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners prior to start date. Experience at the college level preferred.
New graduates, and those preparing to graduate soon, are encouraged to apply.
Coverage of all games and practices. Treatment and rehabilitation of injuries Completing necessary documentation, not limited to injury reports, referrals, medical history, drug testing, and travel with the assigned sport.
Assist Head Athletic Trainer with daily operation of athletic training room. Supervision of students, treatment of athletes, necessary documentation
Supervise the physician visits to the athletic training room. Notification of athlete as to time and day of visit Taking notes, assisting with physician visits, and informing Sports Medicine staff and appropriate coaching staff regarding results of the visit Other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer
