The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth who will become productive, law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Coordinator 4 to support business operations with a focus on property control and asset management. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating procurement and transfers, and ensuring compliance with state property regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a working knowledge of state systems, and a commitment to operational excellence in a mission-driven environment.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
Manages property control & fleet — Oversees inventory, surplus, vehicle maintenance, logs, compliance, and audit-ready documentation.
Maintains inventory systems — Updates databases, prepares certification reports, and supports LPAA/OJJ audits.
Coordinates maintenance work orders — Enters and tracks preventive, routine, and emergency repairs; prepares reports for leadership.
Provides administrative support — Types agendas and correspondence, schedules meetings, prepares materials, and manages filing systems.
Handles purchasing & procurement — Creates requisitions, gathers vendor info, processes LaCarte transactions, maintains procurement files, and ensures compliance.
Processes receiving & documentation — Receives purchases electronically, submits payment documentation, and monitors consumables inventory.
Supports communication & problem-solving — Works with OJJ Financial Services, and State Purchasing to resolve issues and support policy updates.
