What are the responsibilities and job description for the BEHAVIORAL ANALYST, SENIOR position at State of Alabama?
The Behavioral Analyst, Senior is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Human Resources. Positions are statewide, in
various locations throughout Alabama. This is professional independent work in the performance of behavioral analysis administrative
and clinical work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)
• Master’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in behavioral analysis, education, or psychology.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in the practice of behavioral analysis.
• For the promotional register, applicants must have current, permanent status in the Behavioral Analyst (50314) job classification.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT(S)
• Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

EXAMINATION
• Open-Competitive to all applicants and Promotional to current state employees in the job classification listed above.
• An evaluation of Training and Experience as shown on the application will comprise 95% of the applicant’s final score for the
promotional register, with the remaining 5% being based on the average of the applicant’s service ratings for the last three years. Scores
from the evaluation of Training and Experience will comprise 100% of the final score for the open-competitive register.
