What you’ll do
- Prepare, submit, and track warranty, extended service contract, and goodwill claims to the manufacturer
- Review repair orders for accuracy, proper coding, required documentation, and technician story/cause/correction
- Follow up on pending, suspended, and rejected claims to ensure timely payment
- Reconcile warranty receivables and resolve chargebacks
- Stay current on manufacturer warranty policies, bulletins, and labor operation/time guidelines
- Maintain warranty parts retention and scrap per manufacturer requirements
- Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and the service manager to correct claim issues
- Prior automotive warranty administration experience preferred (manufacturer-specific experience a plus)
- Familiarity with dealership DMS Tekion and General Motors Global connect claim portal a plus
- Strong understanding of repair orders, labor operations, and parts coding
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-up
- Ability to meet submission deadlines and minimize claim aging
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license
