BASIC FUNCTION: Under direction of the program manager, provide training and coaching to assist the Behavior Analyst and/or other certificated and classified staff who provide reinforcing instruction to individual or small group of students with severe social, behavior and/or communicative deficits. Providing program support for the program managers, Behavior Analysts, and teachers in creation and presentation of trainings and preparation of materials.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or California High School Equivalent Certificate. Three (3) years’ experience as a Behavior Support Program Assistant. College coursework or equivalent training hours in social skills, Applied Behavior Analysis, and direct instruction is desirable. LICENSE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Driver’s License. Pre-employment lift test. Employee must provide a personal vehicle-employer reasonably expects driving to be one of the job functions. Must have proof of insurance. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: • DOJ Fingerprint clearance • DMV Pull Notice • TB clearance • Pre-Employment Drug Screen/Lift clearance
