Our client is a brewery and is seeking a part time bookkeeper to work about 30 hours per week. They are looking for someone to work 30 hours a week and this can vary slightly from week to week. They are offering a hybrid schedule but in need of someone on site Tuesdays and Thursdays, outside of that they are flexible!

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable: Handle invoices, process payments, track overdue accounts, and pay vendor bills.
- Process payroll: Calculate and process employee wages, taxes, and deductions. Our client uses Action Payroll.
- Reconcile accounts: Compare internal records with bank statements and other accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Generate financial reports: Create reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Handle tax-related tasks: Prepare and lodge business activity statements and manage other tax-related documents and forms.
- Maintain financial records: Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date
- Record financial transactions: Record daily activities like sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into the general ledger.
- Must have Quickbooks experience.
- Must have excel experience (basic spreadsheet functions).
- Must be ok handling roughly 15 invoices per day.
- Must have good experience with cash budgeting.
- Must have good customer service experience as you will be dealing directly with vendors.
