About Us:
We are a well-established business based in Rocky Hill, CT, specializing in the electrical business. We are seeking a reliable and experienced bookkeeper to join our team and handle our financial records with accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and have a strong understanding of all aspects of bookkeeping
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations. Working directly with owner.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Process payroll and handle all related taxes and deductions
- Track and manage accounts payable and receivable
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience in the construction or electrical industry is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must pass a background check
Schedule:
- 10 hours per week
