Daily Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding with minimal supervision, following Weld Process Specifications (WPS)
- Set up welding equipment and complete weldments per AWS codes and blueprint requirements
- Weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components with precision
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, rulers, and dial calipers
- Operate material handling equipment related to welding tasks
- Conduct minor maintenance on welding equipment and tools
- Ensure welds pass visual inspections and destructive testing standards
- Maintain assigned tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of welding experience
- Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding procedures and setup
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written instructions
- Detail-oriented with strong quality and inspection awareness
- Basic math skills for measurements and conversions
- Ability to operate hand tools, air tools, and electric grinders
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks for 8-10-hour shifts
- Flexibility to work overtime or adjust shifts during peak production
- Must adhere to the basic warehouse attire dress code
Schedule & Pay
Pay Rate:
- $21.00-$23.00 per hour (based on welding experience)
Shift:
- Second Shift: 2:30 PM-1:00 AM
- Monday-Thursday
