The Senior Staff Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This individual will support core accounting functions, lead critical aspects of the month-end close, and deliver financial insights that drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze profit center performance, including variance analysis against budget and forecasts
- Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across the general ledger
- Oversee inventory reconciliations and controls, identifying and addressing variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in reporting and financial processes
- Assist in preparing management reports and presentations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory-driven environments is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
