Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic math, data entry, and computer skills required.
- Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS), order management systems, and inventory tracking software.
- Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control, warehouse operations, cycle counting, or order management experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment.
- Experience researching inventory discrepancies, location variances, and order issues.
- Hands-on experience with inventory transactions, data entry, and inventory accuracy reporting.
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management and warehouse personnel.
- Experience maintaining quality standards and following inventory control procedures.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform inventory counts throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures, heights, and moderate noise levels.
- Ability to work overtime or non-standard hours as business needs require.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Job Duties
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, bin location variances, shipping issues, and receiving concerns.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and product counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Enter and update inventory transactions within warehouse management and order management systems.
- Research and resolve inventory, order, and receipt discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, item locations, and system data.
- Stage, move, and organize materials within designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to support inventory and material movement.
- Follow quality assurance procedures and inventory control standards.
- Prepare and maintain inventory documentation and work records.
- Support daily warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned to ensure efficient distribution center performance.
