What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grinder Operator position at Staffmark Group?

Pay: Starting at $17/hour (Depending on experience)
Shifts: Must be available for either day or night shift (set schedule to be discussed)
What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate grinder machines for roll finishing
- Use overhead cranes and proper rigging techniques to load/unload rolls
- Follow grinding procedures using CNC controls and multiple grit belts
- Inspect rolls for quality-check diameter, hardness, crown, and alignment
- Maintain accurate documentation and keep equipment clean and in working order
- Stage next jobs and assist with basic machine maintenance as needed
What You'll Need:
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools
- Experience in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
