Job Duties
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and work orders.
- Use saws, drills, sanders, nail guns, and other hand and power tools.
- Build custom components for signs, displays, exhibits, and specialty projects.
- Perform finishing work such as sanding, trimming, and fitting.
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality.
- Work with other fabricators and production team members to complete projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Ideal Requirements
- Carpentry or woodworking experience.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to accurately measure and make cuts.
- Experience reading drawings or blueprints is a plus.
- Cabinetmaking, finish carpentry, construction, millwork, or custom fabrication experience would be valuable.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
