Job Duties
- Stock merchandise in assigned locations according to shelf allocations.
- Replace misplaced items and ensure products are located in the correct areas.
- Verify shelf labels for accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Utilize company scanning equipment to scan merchandise in and out as required.
- Rotate merchandise to maintain proper product organization and freshness.
- Clean, face, and straighten shelves to ensure an organized appearance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Properly remove and dispose of cardboard, packaging materials, and trash.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
- Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
- Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Evening Stocker.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
