Hours & Pay:
1st Shift: $18/hour
2nd & 3rd Shifts: $19/hour
Bonus Incentive: Additional $0.50/hour for perfect attendance!
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with required daily and weekly overtime as needed
Your Daily Responsibilities:
As a Die Cast Operator, you'll play an important role in ensuring top-quality metal components are produced efficiently and safely.
Key tasks include:
- Starting up and shutting down die casting machines according to SOPs
- Trimming parts using wire wheels, hand files, or other tools
- Maintaining die-cast machine performance through cleaning, maintenance, and 5S organization
- Inspecting cast parts visually and using precision gauges
- Operating a powered pallet jack to move baskets
- Performing quality checks and recording data accurately in the AGSS system
- Completing daily production reports and documenting downtime or quality issues
- Segregating non-conforming products following proper procedures
- Conducting equipment safety checks and following lockout/tagout and safety protocols
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace

What You'll Need to Succeed:
- At least 6 months of machine operation experience (die casting experience a plus)
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and standing, walking, bending, and stooping throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to train on a different shift for 1-4 weeks
