Here's what we're looking for.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using basic measuring tools such as rulers, tape measures, scales, and calculators.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, hoists, and portable welders (TIG/MIG, brazing, soldering) is an asset.
- Familiarity with testing equipment preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive job assignments, materials, and wire from the Team Leader.
- Verify that all required materials (e.g., wire, dogbone, Nomex, insulation) are correct and adequate for the assigned job.
- Wind coils according to job specifications and drawings, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are met.
- Conduct ratio and turns tests as specified before removing coils from the arbor.
- Ensure all completed coils meet drawing and specification requirements.
- Obtain pre-approval from Manufacturing Engineering for any deviations from specifications.
- Notify Quality Assurance (QA) of any quality issues using the proper forms and procedures.
