Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes, Chuckers, and Swiss screw machines
- Perform close tolerance machining to meet exacting specifications
- Follow production schedules and maintain quality standards
- Inspect parts using measuring tools to verify accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferrred.
- Technical school, machining certificate, or CNC programming education preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred but not required. - Will train the right person.
- Experience operating CNC lathes, Chuckers, Swiss screw machines, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.
- Frequent use of hands for operating machinery and inspection equipment.
- Ability to handle metal and plastic components safely.
- Capable of performing repetitive production and inspection tasks.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
