What You'll Do
- Safely operate a 26 box truck with liftgate on local delivery routes.
- Transport palletized boxes and corrugated materials to customer locations.
- Perform live unload deliveries and pallet drop deliveries as scheduled.
- Use a pallet jack to move freight safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation accurately.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delivery updates, and any issues.
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience within the past 3 years.
- Experience operating a 26 box truck in a delivery environment preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and delivery procedures.
- Experience with customer deliveries, live unloads, and palletized freight.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations, at-fault accidents, or a combination of both within the past 3 years.
- No DUI, reckless driving, or other serious driving violations within the past 5 years.
- Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance
- Must be at least 22 years old.
- Valid Class B CDL.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registration completed.
- Ability to safely operate a box truck with a liftgate.
- Comfortable performing light-touch freight deliveries using a pallet jack.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
