Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
- 2 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Solid understanding of freight coordination, packaging standards, and inventory systems
- Comfortable using ERP/WMS systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with DOT, OSHA, and warehouse safety practices
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily shipping operations: scheduling, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Supervise and support shipping team members, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory for outbound shipments and maintain documentation.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues quickly and professionally.
- Implement process improvements to reduce delays and control costs.
- Ensure all activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
