- 1st & 2nd Shifts Available
- 6AM - 2:30PM or...
- 2PM - 10:30PM
- Plus overtime
Pay Rate:
- $19.50 - $20 / hour
Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator supports daily production and material handling operations by working across various stages of the production line. This role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, loading and unloading products, palletizing, packaging, and ensuring all production and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts, reach forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload products
- Support multiple stages of the production line through hands-on involvement
- Separate, stage, and load items onto the production line according to procedures
- Palletize products, build boxes, label items and boxes, and assist with bagging and packing
- Inspect products during production and remove damaged or defective items
- Ensure all materials are loaded and handled according to company protocols
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
- Report equipment, tool, or forklift malfunctions immediately
- Maintain clean tools, equipment, and work areas at the end of each shift
- Work efficiently while performing repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Follow all instructions provided by supervisors and production leads
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of forklift experience required
- Forklift certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 40 lbs or more regularly
- Good practical and mechanical skills
- Ability to work quickly, methodically, and with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Safety-focused mindset and strong work ethic
