About The Role
Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking an experienced Senior Support Technician to join our client’s team. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for the help desk.
- Administer and troubleshoot:
- Windows client and server machines.
- Microsoft 365 applications (OneDrive, Office, SharePoint).
- Microsoft Azure (Intune, Virtual Machines, Backups, Azure Active Directory).
- Configure and troubleshoot Barracuda and SonicWall firewalls.
- Perform on-site duties:
- Server/host troubleshooting and installation.
- Backup appliance installation and configuration.
- Firewall and switch installation and configuration.
- Troubleshoot legal software (Juris, NetDocuments, Worldox).
- Manage SQL instances and databases.
- Administer Active Directory and VPN clients (Barracuda, NetExtender, Cato VPN).
- Support Mitel and softphone software.
- Automate routine tasks (e.g., backups, GAL cleanup).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Cloud experience:
- Microsoft Office 365/M365 (migrations, management).
- Microsoft Azure (migrations, resource creation, management).
- Microsoft SharePoint.
- Server and network installation/management experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven experience as a Senior Support Technician or similar role.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, internet security, and data privacy.
- Preferred: Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Preferred: Certifications (CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
- Travel: Occasional travel to client sites in the Akron area.
- Company vehicle provided when available.
- Mileage reimbursement if using personal vehicle.
