This Inside Sales Representative role will serve as the bridge between customers, internal teams, and outside sales. You’ll help manage customer accounts, follow up on quotes and opportunities, support CRM and reporting efforts, and proactively engage leads and existing prospects. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, comfortable working within ERP/CRM systems, and motivated to contribute beyond just completing daily tasks.
This is an In-Person role, in the Northtown's / Buffalo, NY area.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls and customer follow-ups to strengthen relationships and advance opportunities
- Run reports, analyze customer activity, and support forecasting and account management efforts
- Proactively engage cold and existing leads to help generate new business opportunities
- Partner with customer service, operations, and outside sales teams to support customer needs and resolve issues
- Maintain and update pipeline activity, opportunities, and customer information within CRM systems
- Follow up on quotes, samples, and open sales requests within established timelines
- Manage customer accounts and maintain consistent communication with existing and prospective clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered
- 2 years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer service, or a related sales support role
- Comfortable making decisions, asking thoughtful questions, and collaborating within a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work independently
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; especially Excel
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems such as Dynamics CRM, SalesPad, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a proactive, customer-focused mindset
