This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on project professional who can take ownership, drive execution, and keep complex manufacturing initiatives on track. Our client, a growing manufacturer, is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring disciplined execution across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead projects from early concept and definition through full execution and final implementation, ensuring alignment with business and customer requirements throughout all phases
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring clear expectations are established from the outset
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to secure necessary resources and maintain effective communication across all involved parties
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules, including key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution
- Develop and manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across all reporting materials
- Oversee scope, timeline, and change management activities, evaluating impacts and guiding decisions when adjustments are required
- Track and analyze project performance using defined KPIs, escalating issues and providing updates to leadership and stakeholders as needed
- Deliver regular progress updates to internal teams and clients, clearly communicating status, risks, achievements, and next steps
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to reduce disruptions and maintain project stability
- Provide hands-on support during implementation and launch phases when needed to ensure successful execution on site
- Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards, engineering requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Monitor budgets, staffing levels, and schedules to ensure projects remain within approved constraints
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organization
- Support onboarding and training efforts for team members on project management systems, tools, and methodologies
What We Need From You
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 1 year of project coordination experience
- Strong technical background with experience managing customer-facing projects from concept through completion
