Our client has been established for more than 20 years and helps companies and organizations from small to large outsource and automate all aspects of their human resource operations. For small to medium size organizations, they provide a host of HRO solutions including comprehensive HR solutions, payroll services and menu based, separate HR solutions. The separate HR solutions include affordable benefits, safety management and a host of other solutions. With more than 47,000 worksite employees, more than 300 internal employees, a dedicated marketing team, self-insured and expanding their footprint across the country, offering tremendous growth potential. Flexibility to sell to white, gray and blue collar business across the country (no territorial restrictions), ability to carve out healthcare, work comp and 401k and targeting 5 WSE companies.

Our client is seeking a driven, consultative PEO Sales Representative to expand their footprint across Colorado. You drive business growth by identifying new prospects, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals. This role plays a crucial part in expanding their client base, building strong partnerships, and delivering tailored HR solutions that meet the needs of their Colorado market.

Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting & Business Development

  • Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other outreach efforts.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in Salesforce, ensuring accurate documentation of all interactions.
  • Research businesses and industries to understand their HR needs and position our client as the ideal solution.

2. HR Analysis & Solution Development

  • Conduct in-depth HR assessments using company-provided tools and data-gathering forms.
  • Analyze key HR pain points related to payroll, benefits, compliance, and workforce management.
  • Present tailored solutions that address specific client challenges, demonstrating the value of our services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals and recommendations are customized to client needs.

3. Sales & Client Engagement

  • Conduct consultative sales meetings, discovery calls, and product demonstrations to assess client needs and present solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, HR managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.

4. Closing & Contract Management

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to contract signing and handoff to implementation teams.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery by coordinating with internal departments.

5. Networking & Marketing Event Participation

  • Represent our client at networking events and business expos to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Actively participate in community and industry events to foster relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Follow up on event-generated leads promptly and track engagement in Salesforce.

6. Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and deal status in Salesforce.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.

7. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to optimize lead generation efforts and ensure alignment in messaging.
  • Partner with operations and client success teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings, sales training, and strategy sessions to continuously refine sales techniques.

Performance Expectations

  • Proactively generate and convert leads into new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through in client interactions.
  • Continuously improve sales techniques and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience, and currently employed with a PEO company.
  • MUST be located in CST, MST or PST
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Salary : $60,000 - $125,000
