Overview
Seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise web applications. This role focuses on building modern, scalable solutions that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on development experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle.
This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and progressive web applications (PWAs)
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Build and enhance user interfaces and application features
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
- Write and optimize complex database queries and support data analysis/reporting needs
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the full stack
- Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and stakeholders
- Support application deployments and ensure smooth integration into production environments
- Create technical documentation, system designs, and implementation details
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience developing and maintaining web-based applications
- Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Experience with REST API development and integration
- Strong experience with databases such as Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MongoDB
- Experience writing complex queries and supporting data analysis/reporting
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Government agencies, especially Law Enforcement
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Git-based version control
- Experience with Node.js frameworks (Express, Fastify, etc.)
- Experience with MongoDB aggregation pipelines
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments
- Experience with UI libraries/frameworks such as Vuetify or PrimeVue
- Experience generating reports using tools like PDFMake
- Experience with modern development tools such as VS Code
