Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support high-volume enterprise data operations and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering complex data solutions, supporting critical data requests, and building scalable data structures to meet ongoing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL programs to support enterprise data needs
- Analyze and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation across multiple data sources
- Support high-volume, time-sensitive data requests, including regulatory, legal, audit, and operational reporting needs
- Develop and maintain data marts to support recurring analytics and reporting requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with defined service level agreements
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize and fulfill data requests
- Document data processes, queries, and solutions for knowledge sharing and reuse
- Participate in data modeling, ETL processes, and ongoing data platform enhancements
- Identify and resolve data issues, ensuring proper tracking and communication
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, data development, or related field
- Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
- Strong experience writing complex queries across large, highly normalized data models
- Experience supporting enterprise data warehouses and data mart development
- Proven ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Experience working with high-volume, ad hoc data requests under strict timelines
- Strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and data governance practices
- Knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments (thousands of tables, complex schemas)
- Background supporting financial, pension, healthcare, or customer data systems
