- Prefer a candidate who has the ability to:
- Use technology including Google apps, Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
- Provide outstanding customer service to staff, students and the general public.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with all constituents.
- Organize and perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Performs general receptionist functions for the building.
- Greets the public entering the building.
- Identifies needs of parents, students and staff and assists in addressing those needs and directing them to appropriate staff/persons.
- Answers departmental phones and directs callers to appropriate persons and/or provides general information, as appropriate.
- Monitors and follows security procedures within the building as individuals come and go.
- Maintains accurate attendance records and updates the student information system.
- Listens to attendance calls via telephone or received via email.
- Updates student attendance records and runs necessary attendance reports.
- Keeps staff and administration aware of any attendance concerns or issues.
- Provides cumulative folder maintenance of student records.
- Intakes, updates and transfers student cumulative files.
- Perform general filing.
- Provides general office support for administration.
- Monitors and assists with student dismissal at the end of the day.
- Performs other duties of a comparable level or type, as required.
