TRANSPORT DRIVER
JOB SUMMARY: To safely provide transportation for St Croix Chippewa enrolled Tribal Members who need a ride to and from the St Croix Casino – Turtle Lake for work.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and able to meet our insurance criteria. Must have two (2) years of driving experience. Must be dependable and able to work independently without supervision. Must be courteous and well groomed. Must have the ability to be a team player and able to comply with orders given by management.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be alert and professional at all times. Must have the ability to work efficiently in an intense, fast-paced environment. Must be capable and confident to drive in changing weather conditions and handle any change in routine according to varying situations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide transportation promptly and on a time-scheduled route throughout the shift. Must be a safe, responsible courteous driver at all times. Must maintain a good driving record. Responsible for inspecting the vehicle and completing a Pre-Trip Inspection form and submitting work orders to the mechanics for any problem or repair. Must operate cellphone or similar device to communicate with the base station for any changes in the schedule route. Responsible for keeping the transporting vehicle clean at all times.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.

SHUTTLE DRIVER
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for safely transporting guests and company personnel from designated loading areas to the casino, hotel or other destinations according to the assigned schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must have a good driving record and be able to meet our insurance criteria. Must be able to work independently.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have the ability to work efficiently in an intense, fast-paced environment. Must be alert and act professional at all times with the ability to exercise good judgment in stressful and intense situations. Must be confident to drive in changing weather conditions and handle any change in routine according to situations. Must be able to assist disabled passengers into and out of the shuttle bus. Must be able to secure wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize them during a trip. Must comply with all traffic regulations and report delays or accidents.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Transporting guests and employees to their destination in a safe and courteous manner. Maintain a good driving record. Inspect the bus and complete a Pre-trip Inspection Report prior to departure. Check and maintain fluid levels and submit a work order to mechanics for any problem or repair. Regulate heating, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other shuttles with status of your location. Do a walk-through of shuttle bus prior to and after the shift picking up waste and emptying waste baskets. Responsible for fueling bus at the end of shift. Must be dependable and prompt. Other duties include cleaning busses or other vehicles and custodial/building maintenance tasks.
