What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Staff (FT) position at St. Croix Casino?
JOB SUMMARY: Perform various job duties and assignments to maintain the buildings and the ground of the Casino properties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Two (2) years of experience in plant maintenance or a specific trade preferred. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and able to meet our insurance criteria.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be ambulatory and able to bend, lift and twist. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and oral signals. Must to able to work independently or with a group. Must be able to handle multiple projects with the ability to prioritize such projects. Ability to move quickly to problem areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Complete maintenance jobs up to standards for the department. Complete any routine and assigned jobs for the Casino properties. Such duties may include but are not limited to: taking out trash, minor repairs, regular maintenance of property, doing heavy lifting and carrying, setting up and tearing down of stage or tables, and maintaining the grounds. Complete other duties as instructed, including helping other departments and cleaning when slow.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
