What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deli Staff (FT) position at St. Croix Casino?
RATE OF PAY: $15.00/HR. OR D.O.E. TIPS *Possible Increase From 0% - 3% After 90 Days.
JOB SUMMARY: Provide friendly, excellent service to each guest.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Previous experience in kitchen or deli with basic skills preferred. Previous cashiering is an advantage. Must be able to read and understand a kitchen Conversion Chart and possess organizational skills.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to twenty five (25) pounds. Ability to maneuver in a confined area during entire shift. Ability to tolerate smoke-filled areas. Must be able to stand, bend and walk for long periods. Must be able to accurately process all cash transactions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Produce items to department specifications. Maintain area in a clean and sanitary condition. Greet all guests in a friendly manner. Ring in guest checks on cash register and accurately handle the exchange of money. Handle and solve any concerns and questions from guests. Record and track all comps.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
