MARKETING VIP Host (FT)

JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibility is to work with players in ways that enhance customer loyalty and develop the Casino’s business. Maintain high visibility in gaming to build and maintain relationships with frequent players. Enhance frequent player’s experience through efforts such as, complimentary food and event invitations. Work closely with the Marketing and Gaming Departments. Responsible for organizing, staffing and maintaining the Players Club Staff. Coordinates Players Club promotions within the Casino.

QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as telephone skills. Must be able to interface with people of all personalities. Must possess strong leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills. . Must have the ability to accomplish a variety of responsibilities and prioritize tasks. Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be willing to accept new challenges and additional training required to achieve success in additional job responsibilities.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have the ability to maintain self-control under high stress and when dealing with difficult situations. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure and with many interruptions. Must be able to remain loyal, discreet and non-discriminatory. Confidentiality is a must. Must have the ability to communicate effectively. Proficient in oral and written communication skills within department standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Follow Casino’s procedures to resolve customer complaints and issues. Monitor players’ spending and preferences to tailor a marketing campaign (including e-mail and personal invitations) in an effort to encourage return visits by the player. Maintain a Casino player database, updating and tracking any useful information regarding frequent players for marketing and business development purposes. Responsible for all functions of the Players Club Staff, plus conduct the accurate compensations of slot players. Enforce company and departmental policies. Compile survey data. Make staff schedule, prepare daily reports and train Players Club Staff. Administer verbal and written reprimands. Facilitate the smooth running of Casino entertainment and conduct promotional drawings.

Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
