An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Essential Functions
- Administers leave programs including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other absence policies.
- Reviews and processes leave requests to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.
- Maintains accurate leave records in HRIS systems and ensures timely communication of status updates.
- Provides guidance to employees and managers on absence policies, procedures, and available resources.
- Coordinates with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate pay, benefits continuation, and deductions during leaves.
- Monitors absence-related metrics and prepares reports on utilization, compliance, and trends.
- Supports case management for accommodations and return-to-work processes.
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable employment laws.
- Collaborates with HR and leadership to recommend process improvements and enhance employee experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
