Job Description
- Performs general manual labor or grounds maintenance for County Departments needing full-time summer help.
- Performs manual labor such as; cutting grass, removing debris and weeds, trimming trees, painting, repairing asphalt roads, shoveling and digging.
- Assists by carrying or holding materials, supplies and tools, flagman, placing concrete, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requires the ability to carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Requires knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
- Working skill in operating lawn mowers and other grounds upkeep equipment.
- Ability to cooperate with supervisors and co-workers, follow instructions and carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
- Requires stable education and work history.
- Employment is contingent on successfully passing a full criminal background check.
- Minimum age: 18 years old
