We are looking for a powerhouse Ride Instructor Lead to command the podium, inspire our community, and elevate our cycling program to the next level.
THE ROLE
As the Ride Instructor Lead, you are the pulse of our cycling studio. You will split your time between delivering unforgettable, high-energy classes on the podium and managing our team of passionate Ride Instructors. You will be responsible for quality control, scheduling, talent recruitment, and ensuring every single ride aligns with the premium, results-driven standards of Apex Life Club.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Command the Podium: Teach a designated number of high-energy, premium rhythm and/or performance-based cycling classes per week.
- Lead & Mentor: Work alongside the Director of Fitness to recruit, audition, onboard, and continuously train a team of Ride Instructors to ensure top-tier performance, musicality, and safety.
- Curate the Experience: Optimize class times, help all classes work towards reaching maximum attendance, and coordinate sub coverage.
- Community Engagement: Act as a brand ambassador inside the Fire and Ice Arena, building strong relationships with members and fostering an inclusive, high-vibe community.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular class evaluations and provide constructive feedback to instructors on playlist curation, cueing, and rider engagement.
- Sound & Scene: Partner with management to maintain studio production standards, including audio equipment, lighting systems, and bike maintenance tracking.
WHO YOU ARE
- An Experienced Leader: You have 2 years of experience teaching indoor cycling and a proven track record of leading, mentoring, or managing a team.
- A Magnetic Presence: You possess undeniable star power on the podium—your energy is infectious, your coaching is precise, and your playlists are unmatched.
- Certified Pro: You hold a nationally recognized Indoor Cycling Certification (e.g., Schwinn, Mad Dogg, Stages) and a current CPR/AED certification.
