Job Title: Server Operations Analyst

Location: Houston, Texas (On-site)

Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced technology professional to join our client’s IT Server Operations team and help drive high availability, operational excellence, and cloud observability. Our team ensures system stability, efficient operations, and consistent process improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced network operations center environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure and platform health, respond to alerts, and drive incident resolution using tools such as SolarWinds Orion and Dynatrace.
• Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and remediation tasks for Windows and Linux servers in physical, virtual, and hybrid environments, including DNS updates via Infoblox.
• Participate in on-call rotations, execute maintenance window tasks, coordinate support tickets, and conduct shift handoffs and documentation, maintaining a disciplined approach throughout.
• Partner on automation initiatives, contribute to process improvements, and support cloud onboarding, observability, and operational documentation efforts.
  
  

Required

• 5 years of hands-on experience in server operations or infrastructure support roles.
• Strong working knowledge of both Windows Server and Linux operating systems, along with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Demonstrated expertise working with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows using tools such as SolarWinds Orion, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
• Experience in a network operations center or similar structured, shift-based operational environment, including participation in on-call rotations and maintaining clear, actionable communications across teams.
