Job Title: Operations Performance Specialist

Location: Syracuse, New York (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for an Operations Performance Specialist supporting manufacturing performance improvement through data-driven analysis, reporting, and operational planning. Our team is looking for a candidate who can turn complex operational data into practical insights that help improve capacity utilization, schedule attainment, service recovery, and backlog performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical tools and models to evaluate manufacturing capacity, bottlenecks, constraints, and throughput opportunities.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and visualization tools to support leadership decision-making and performance tracking.
• Analyze demand, production, inventory, and order fulfillment data to identify root causes affecting service and delivery performance.
• Support data quality, reporting consistency, SAP data utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations functions.
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business analytics, data analytics, or a related discipline.
• One (1) to five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business analytics, or related disciplines.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI dashboard development, Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software, SQL, and Excel.
• Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, service metrics, schedule attainment, and backlog management.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, project management, communication, and continuous improvement skills.
