Job Title: Junior Electrical Engineer – General Service Representative

Location: Rockford, Illinois (Hybrid)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support residential and small commercial electric service projects. This role will evaluate electrical facilities, support service design, coordinate projects, and work with customers and internal teams from initial request through service completion.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing electrical facilities and determine the appropriate source and service requirements.
• Design single-phase electric service solutions when new facilities are required.
• Create job packages and supporting documentation for engineering review and field walkthroughs.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Construction teams to move projects through completion.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate system updates and communicating progress to customers.
  
  

Required:

• 1–5 years of engineering and/or project management experience.
• Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Basic electrical knowledge and strong engineering aptitude.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and applications.
• Preferred: Experience with AS8, Intellio, AutoCAD, or similar engineering/design software.
